Alterations to the existing ruins.
Stainless steel frames are fitted into the window and fireplace openings on the cleft gable to tie the two sides of the gable together.
The broken lintel over the front door is replaced with one from the New Castle at Breachacha on Coll which was built around the same time as the White House.
Summer 2008
Site surveys and preparation for works.
Initial archeological surveys are made and access tracks are undertaken. The ruin itself is still very precarious and delicate in places.
